Warranty Information

Warranty for the whole machine is 1 year, for the motor is 2 years, and for the battery and other fast consumption items is 3 months.

Important Operational Notes
  1. Sterilize temperature ≤ 135 °C (Improved type ≤ 155 °C). If the temperature exceeds 135 °C, the motor could be damaged.
  2. Normal bone drills can only hold drill bits less than 6mm. Acetabulum reaming drills require big torque (RPM is around 300), and cannulated drills are used with nails or K-wires (RPM is around 600).
  3. The battery must be removed from the power tool after surgery. Otherwise, the small automatic electrical discharge will shorten the battery lifespan.
  4. The battery cannot be sterilized and is not autoclavable.
  5. The cranial bur must be washed right after surgery using a purger to avoid blood sticking inside. Make sure it stays dry.
  6. Ensure the battery space in the handpiece of the tool is completely dry and free of water after sterilization.
  7. The cranial bur blade is made of medical stainless steel. To prevent breaking, it is designed to be flexible and not overly hard, which makes it easy to wear down. We suggest using each blade for only one surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ Overview
Q What is the warranty period for the HAS-B100 power tool system?
The warranty for the complete machine is 1 year, the motor is covered for 2 years, and the battery and other fast-consumption accessories are covered for 3 months.
Q What is the maximum autoclave temperature the handpiece can withstand?
The standard sterilization temperature should not exceed 135 °C. For the improved version, it can handle up to 155 °C. Exceeding these limits can damage the motor.
Q Can the battery be autoclaved along with the handpiece?
No. The batteries cannot be sterilized and are not autoclavable. Ensure you remove the battery before processing the handpiece.
Q How should the surgical blades and cranial bur blades be used?
The blades are constructed from medical-grade stainless steel designed to be flexible rather than overly rigid to prevent breakage. They are prone to wear, so we recommend using a fresh blade for each individual surgical procedure.
Q What maintenance is required for the battery post-operation?
The battery must be taken out of the tool's handpiece immediately after surgery. Keeping it connected will cause minor automatic discharges, which significantly shortens the overall battery life.
Q What should be done to clean the cranial bur?
The cranial bur needs to be flushed and cleaned using a purger immediately after the surgical procedure to prevent blood from drying and sticking inside. Always ensure it is stored dry.
