FAQ
FAQ Visual Reference
Q What is the maximum sterilization temperature for the device?
The recommended sterilization temperature is ≤ 135 °C. Improved types can handle up to ≤ 155 °C. Exceeding these limits can damage the motor.
Q Can the battery be sterilized under high temperatures?
No, the battery is not resistant to high temperatures and cannot be sterilized. It must be removed from the handpiece prior to sterilization.
Q How should I maintain the battery after surgery?
The battery must be taken out of the power tool immediately after surgery. Keeping it inside can lead to small automatic discharges, which shortens overall battery life.
Q How often should the cranial bur blades be replaced?
The cranial bur blade is made of medical stainless steel designed for flexibility. It is prone to wear and tear, so we strongly suggest replacing the blade after every single surgery.
Q What are the cleaning requirements for the cranial bur?
The cranial bur must be cleaned with a purger immediately after the procedure to prevent blood from sticking. Ensure it is completely dried after washing.
