The length is designed to be perfectly consistent with the natural anatomy of the femoral medullary cavity.
Further improves fixation strength in cases of osteoporosis. The blunt end design of the locking screw minimizes the risk of excessive penetration.
Short Nail: Diameter of 8.0 / 9.5mm, length of 160mm.
Long Nail: Diameter of 7.0 / 8.5mm, length of 180-315mm (15mm intervals).
All nails are available in left and right anatomical configurations and made from titanium alloy, suitable for all standard applications with minimally invasive implantation.
Features multi-plane and multi-locking screw options for optimal stability. The screw-in-screw structure boosts fixation in osteoporotic bone, while the countersinking and blunt head configurations limit tissue irritation and penetration risks.
Short screws utilize two distinct locking planes. Long screws feature three locking holes strategically positioned to avoid key blood vessels between the median and radial nerves. Dual anterior/posterior locking holes minimize rotation and displacement.
Specialized compression holes enhance stability for transverse or short oblique fractures. Features a self-sustaining mechanism that requires no static screw to maintain compression intraoperatively.
Compared to standard G3 designs with a 1.5m radian radius, the TFNA system offers a 1.0m radian radius. This doubles the likelihood of correct distal alignment within the center of the medullary cavity.
